We are the UCLA Extension Student Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. We are a student chapter under the guidance of the National American Society of Interior Designers and the local Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.
ASID, the oldest leading professional organization for interior designers in commercial and residential design, represents over 38,000 members. We are the largest ASID Student Chapter in the nation.
Our mission is to:
Encourage student involvement
Enrich their educational experience
Expose them to real-world aspects of design
Provide career development opportunities
We help our student body by providing unique and enriched educational opportunities in the world of design that cannot be experienced in the classroom.
We forge relationships and build bridges between emerging design professionals and the greater design community including other student chapters, design professionals, ASID LA Members, and Industry Partners.
