The Senior Interior Designer will design all Herman Miller workplace environments and showrooms, from concept to completion. This is a tremendous opportunity to work for a cherished global brand that is a champion of modern design and a leader in workplace innovation. The Senior Interior Designer will serve as a design thought leader, and will deliver compelling environments that feature Herman Miller products and systems for all in-house corporate environments and showrooms, exhibitions, and trade shows in a way that is substantive, thoughtful, forward-thinking and functional. This role will be responsible for evaluating consumer insights and, through design, delivering interior projects that address and reflect those insights and trends.
The candidate must be a talented interior designer, working hands-on, who has the ability to lead and influence. Ten or more years of relevant experience, including commercial office interiors as well as significant exhibition or retail history, is required. Compensation will depend on the candidate. The position will be based in Herman Miller's design offices in New York City, and will require a great deal of travel.
